What is integrative counselling?
Integrative counselling is a flexible approach that draws on different therapeutic models to meet each person’s individual needs. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I adapt the way I work based on your experiences, goals, and what feels most helpful for you. This may include exploring past experiences, understanding patterns in the present, and developing practical ways of coping, always within a supportive and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
What I offer
I offer integrative counselling informed by over five years’ experience working within addiction and substance misuse services, supporting individuals with a wide range of challenges and recovery journeys. I also have specialist experience in bereavement, having completed my counselling placement with Cruse Bereavement, where I supported people through loss, grief, and adjustment. I work affirmatively with the LGBTQ+ community, including support around gender dysphoria, HIV, identity, and related emotional challenges. Alongside this, I support individuals experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, and the emotional impact of life changes, offering a safe, non-judgemental space to explore and make sense of what they are going through.
